Based in the UK, this regional managerial role covers Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

We are looking for a talented Graduate to provide support to the UK Pharmacovigilance department, including contributing to day to day vigilance activities for UK, Irish and Maltese J&J Ltd products.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Understand and comply with local UK SOPs and WIs, and relevant EMEA and GMS SOPs.
- Receive various cases from the UK Medical Information department or any other relevant source and maintain Adverse Event (AE) report case files.
- Accurately record AE information on the J&J UK Adverse Event Tracking Safety database (UKAET) and to ensure all relevant fields are completed correctly.
- Accurately transcribe all AE information from source documentation onto the Global Medial Safety (GMS) Adverse Event Reporting Form and report to GMS within designated timelines.
- Manage administration of appropriate follow-up communications with consumers and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure cases are closed according to relevant procedures.
- Downloading and processing Anonymised Single Patient Reports (ASPR) received via the MHRA Sentinel portal within agreed timelines.
- Verify and monitor daily, weekly and/or monthly reports from various sources, including the Medical Information Department (outsourcing company) and Consumer Support Team, to ensure all cases have been received and processed.
- Assist in performing pregnancy and Product Quality Complaints (PQCs) reconciliation.
- Assist in the quality check of Social Media Listening activities.
- To assist in the periodic review of local UK literature for Adverse Events

Qualifications


Education
Degree in Pharmacy or a Life Science

Experience
No formal experience is required for this role, however, experience via a sandwich placement year would be an advantage

Technological competencies

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
