The C.R.E.A.Te Project Manager will support the Community of Research Excellence & Advanced Technology (C.R.E.A.Te). C.R.E.A.Te is providing scientific expertise and research capabilities to engage in value-creating Discovery Research as an active Partner and Integrator.

The C.R.E.A.Te PM is accountable to both C.R.E.A.Te and PMO Leadership for supporting Functional Planning, Capacity Management and Portfolio Management. As a member of specific strategic teams, the C.R.E.A.Te PM will provide project management expertise and actively contribute to ensure implementation and continuous improvement of Project and Portfolio Management Capabilities for C.R.E.A.Te. More specifically this role will be the main driver for implementing and supporting Capacity Management for C.R.E.A.Te. This role will need to manage the complexity of recommending, designing, and implementing a capacity management approach to the Function including gaining buy-in and support from all stakeholders. This role will provide regular reports and analysis on resource demand, supply and gaps. The C.R.E.A.Te PM will facilitate regular review of workload and resource analyses in support of the Function and in support of regular financial updates and business planning. The C.R.E.A.Te PM will then continuously monitor and improve the Planning and Resource Management platform.

This role will also partner and closely collaborate with colleagues in the PMO and Finance to ensure alignment of plans, resource demand and budget.

Qualifications


A Bachelor's degree is required. M.S. or more advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 7 years pharmaceutical/biotech/CRO industry experience is required. A detailed knowledge of the overall drug discovery process is required. Ability to work in a complex matrixed global environment with multiple stakeholders is required. Relevant experience in business analytics, portfolio management and financial concepts is required including such areas as planning, budgeting, forecasting and capacity management. Direct experience in at least two pharmaceutical R&D drug development functions (discovery, preclinical, chemical and pharmaceutical development, clinical, regulatory, finance or project management) is preferred. PMP certification is preferred. This position requires up to 10% annual travel (domestic and international).
