The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial leadership and guidance to IT Teams. The position also will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and presentation of budgets to the leadership team and preparing business recommendations based on the analysis of these budgets

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Financial Planning and Analysis, IT expense management, budgetary support for IT cost centers, managing charge-out process, project estimates, capital appropriation (CAR) analyses & process facilitation, month-end close responsibilities (journal entries and Bravo submissions), ad hoc analysis & presentations for senior management, enterprise IT reporting, industry benchmarking, and strategic data analysis.

Additional responsibilities include providing transparency to J&J WHQ finance for IT cost charge-outs and partnering with them to complete CAR estimates jointly. This role will also track project performance, provide analytics & insights for Senior Management reporting, and present financial results to Business Partners. This position may manage FLDPs, interns, and co-ops.

Qualifications


A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance. A CPA, CMA, or MBA are preferred. A minimum of three (3) years finance or related business experience is required. The candidate must possess the ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. The ability to maintain and improve consistent and sound business processes is required.

This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel & PowerPoint) is required and experience in SAP is preferred. The candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and have experience building and implementing financially viable business models. The candidates must have good communication and negotiation skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be passionate about meeting stretch objectives.
