GENERAL SUMMARY
Assist in the development of marketing and member communication programs and tactics to improve engagement.
Supports sales, marketing and member engagement efforts by developing, implementing and maintaining product brand and messaging guidelines and platforms; drafting and launching communication tactics, supporting timely and appropriate outreach; optimizing the frequency of channel(s) of that outreach.
Manages and contributes to teams focused on providing messaging and outreach necessary to meet or exceed growth, retention, and profitability.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, implements and maintains brand usage guidelines to ensure image and message consistency across channels and to all audiences
- Ensures timely production of quality marketing and member communication collateral.
- Coordinates member outreach efforts with related corporate and regional health plan leadership
- Contributes to development and oversees tactical implementation of various retention strategies
- Provides budget and expense analysis monthly. Coordinates with data team to generate program measures/reporting elements and track retention impact.
- Develops marketing materials (collateral and scripts) to support quality management and performance initiatives (including CAHPS and HEDIS).
- Develops quality management program (CAHPS and HEDIA) support tools to provide better service and personal consultation.
- Supports development of standard training materials, tools, talking point scripts and job aids for retention and CAHPS support.
- Develops collateral and scripts to assist members in their decision-making.
- Support the development of sales materials for reselling activities.
- Assists on the development of processes that optimize member touch points.
- Ensure that cross-channel member materials include messages to reinforce the value of existing plans.
- Ensures that communications materials are user-friendly, simple, personal, relevant, memorable and distinct.
- Performs other duties as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent expereince.

- Significant (usually 7+ years) experience in marketing communications, including writing various channels and audiences
- Strong human relations skills including excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple clients, including vendors and at all levels
- Experience with and knowledge of Medicare communication regulations, issues, dynamics and trends a plus.
