The Project Engineer will work within the Raynham Orthopaedics Engineering Team to support process engineering focused initiatives such as capital appropriations, continuous improvement projects, process improvement project, and lean transformation projects. This individual will ensure that any engineering projects meet all internal customer and company requirements by providing technical project leadership across functional boundaries throughout the production environment.

In addition, the individual assigned to this position will be expected to lead cross-functional and team based projects through the establishment and communication of schedules, objectives, and priorities while ensuring that all project milestones are met. The individual will work closely with plant Operations and Quality Engineering resources to develop and execute any validation test plans or procedures that may be required in support of these projects. The project engineer will also keep senior management informed on project status by creating, maintaining, and presenting written reports on project status, costs, issues, and performance against established targets on a regular basis.

Qualifications


A bachelor's degree is required along with a minimum of 3 years experience working in industry. Experience and examples of successfully led projects are required. Must be able to support multiple projects simultaneously. Must be confident working with minimal supervision. Experience in writing and executing design and/or process validations in relation to medical industry product and/or processes is preferred. Project management training plus. Experience working in integrated cross-functional product development teams is required. Ability to complete financial analyses for capital purchases is desired. Must have Microsoft Office proficiency and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
