This position will provide key administrative and program support to the initiatives of the National Workforce Planning and Development (WFP/D) Team as well as Regional and local WFP/D Teams. This position will at times have responsibility for small to medium size analytical projects including, but not limited to collecting and organizing data and providing analyses for a broad array of issues across disciplines, functional areas, and regions involving workforce planning and development. The admin/analyst will work as part of the National WFP/D Team, and will provide support for programs and initiatives implemented.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in the design of analytic approaches. Conducts research on identified business issues. Evaluates and distills analyses conducted by others.
- Assists in developing and utilizing data gathering tools such as surveys and questionnaires, and interview questions to ensure that appropriate quantitative and qualitative data is gathered for analysis. Extracts data for analysis and interpretation.
- Conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses on a broad array of issues across regions, disciplines, projects and functional areas as assigned. Prepares preliminary interpretations of analyses for project teams, clients, management, and labor management partners. Recommends suggested action steps based on the results.
- Prepares reports synthesizing analytical results, highlighting implications of findings. Follows through on the results using sound business judgment.
- Prepares and develops project proposals, presentations, recommendations, implementation plans, communication packages, measurement tools and training materials related to assigned projects. Also responsible for tracking metrics for evaluation of workforce planning implementation.
- Provides administrative support to the workforce planning and development team, including general office management, meeting and calendaring support, project support, and other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate workforce planning activities, reports, metrics and analysis as it relates to strategic workforce initiatives. Provide support to programs including, but not limited to, research, analysis, data entry, documentation and phone support.
- Coordinate communication concerning workforce planning with regional leadership and labor-management partners.
- Provide analytical assistance to regional workforce planning staff.
- Collect and analyze internal and external data on workforce planning projects.
- Limited travel required.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Two (2) years or more project management experience
- Four (4) year degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Understands all project life cycle phases and applies knowledge in the delivery of at least one (1) phase of the project delivery life cycle
- Significant knowledge of policies, practices and systems
- Understands use of change management process - resources, schedule, scope-for assigned project (size and complexity - see above)

-Previous experience in HR related field
Functional/Technical Knowledge & Skills
-Advanced computers skills. Advanced skill level in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint. Proficiency in MS Access and other applications a plus.
Customer & Industry Knowledge
-Project and Time Management knowledge a plus.
Education/Training
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Organization Development, Health Care Administration, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field.
-Two or more years of related analytical or consulting experience required, healthcare experience preferred
