Description

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company, is recruiting MBA Interns as part of the Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP) located in Raritan, NJ. This internship will occur over a 10-12 week period during the Summer of 2013.

This internship opportunity will be a 10-12 week assignment in one of our Commercial areas including but not limited to: Marketing, Market Research, Business Development, Clinical Innovations or Customer Technical Services. These key Commercial business functions will create immediate opportunities to make a large-scale impact through a rigorous internship opportunity.

Responsibilities include: demonstrating leadership capabilities and meeting business objectives; understanding and gaining experience with the various global commercial facets of the OCD Franchise; understanding how our business and its people affect providers, patients, labs/physicians and payors; achieving development and rotation objectives as outlined by Hiring Manager, Rotation Managers and CLDP Program Champion; showing measurable impact in the rotation assignment; interaction with senior management; and understanding the global scope of the OCD Franchise.

CLDP Interns will be considered for our full time CLDP program. The OCD CLDP program is a 2-year accelerated MBA leadership program designed specifically to develop future leaders on the Commercial side of the business. This rigorous commercial leadership development program will include two 9-12+ month assignments across various Commercial opportunities. Assignments are individually tailored to allow participants to gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the OCD business and to gain the necessary skills and experiences in order to achieve their full potential and create a pipeline for future leadership positions.

Qualifications


In order to be eligible for this position, the MBA candidate will be enrolled in an accredited MBA Program with graduation planned for 2014. A minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience required. Experience in one of the following areas: Marketing, Market Research, Sales, Business Development, Licensing and Acquisitions, Finance or related field preferred.

Understanding of key marketing and financial concepts, along with solid demonstration of project management is preferred. Strong leadership and communications skills are required. Must be able to think creatively and objectively about new opportunities.
