The Consumer Healthcare division of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies provides consumers across the globe with a wide variety of personal care products and over-the- counter pharmaceuticals. The Pharmaceutical Technology Co-Op Program at McNeil Consumer Healthcare is available in Fort Washington, PA and Lancaster, PA. The Co- Op program provides an opportunity for students to be exposed to the process of developing and manufacturing new and beneficial consumer pharmaceuticals for global markets. The successful candidate will be mentored by their Pharmaceutical Technology supervisors and peers and work in cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams to complete project initiatives including, but not limited to, project mapping, process monitoring, and the evaluation of liquid and solid dosage pharmaceuticals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of projects in cGMP manufacturing and pilot scale environments and should be able to apply the use of six-sigma methodology to analyze product inputs, outputs, controlled and non-controlled variables. Co-Op assignments are eight month terms spanning the fall or spring semesters and summer months. This position is responsible for on-time completion of assigned projects including pharmaceutical dosage form development, validation, and/or post-validation activities. The ideal candidate should possess, strong technical writing and communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. The ability to interact with such groups such as Operations, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Project Management is required.

Requirements/Qualifications
• Pursuing a B.S., M.S. degree in Chemical, Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences
• GPA greater than 3.0 is Preferred.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and statistical analyses
• Be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without limitations
