Noramco, Inc., a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is currently recruiting for Process Engineering Co-ops located in Wilmington, Delaware.

Noramco, Inc. produces a variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients and is a major worldwide producer of medicinal analgesics.

The Process Engineering Co-ops may: Collect and analyze data, update procedures or other documents, support project work. Work with Process Engineers and Operations to collect, compile, analyze, and prepare summaries of historical trends and key data parameters. Support process improvements, new product introductions, and process validations as needed. Support other departments as needed to support plant priorities. This is a great opportunity to learn about production of active pharmaceutical ingredients, batch processing, process equipment, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications


Enrollment (not necessarily taking classes) at an accredited college/university and pursuing at least a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or other related Engineering or Science major is required. Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Spring/Summer Co-op (April - September) is required. Completion of at least freshman year of undergraduate studies is required. A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 is preferred. Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities are desired. Experience with spreadsheets and statistics are preferred. Previous experience in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing setting is preferred. This position is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.
