The Co-op position will support our Commercial Operations division. This position will provide exposure in assisting and leading project implementation activities, identifying, researching, and validating innovative solutions to strategic initiatives. Activities to potentially include, but not limited to: pricing and contracting strategy design and implementation, customer inventory optimal calculations and reporting, business information customer and product maintenance. The Co-op will need to conduct research on emerging technologies and apply superior knowledge of industry and competitive environment in all facets of daily job functions. Also responsible for periodic analysis and reporting of key business metrics. Will also prepare presentations to management and represent their department in meetings with other functional areas, both within and outside of the company, to resolve mutual problems and implement new methods or procedures.

Qualifications


In order to be eligible for the 2013 Co-op position, the candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's degree. New college graduates will not be considered. Student must be able to work full-time during the Spring Co-op Session (January - June) or Fall Session (July - December). GPA of 3.0 or better is required. Preferred majors include Industrial Systems, Engineering and/or Business students majoring in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or Accounting. Only students that have completed his/her freshman year or above will be considered. The preferred candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business partnering skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting. It is required that candidates are highly proficient in the use of personal computers, including knowledge of software such as Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Knowledge of efficient database setup and construction is preferred. The candidate should be a motivated individual with high energy and a strong desire to learn about Cordis Corporation and Johnson & Johnson.

The position is located in Bridgewater, NJ. Candidates must be available to provide their own transportation to this location. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.
