The Strategic Projects Team is looking for a Project Manager, Senior to support a wide variety of project activities. The candidate will assist with activities needed to define, develop and deploy projects primarily related to strategic projects. Duties will include assisting with compiling and analyzing project and financial reports, tracking project/program progress and results, coordinating schedules and activities, placing eProcurement orders for hardware / software supplies and services and other activities. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, excellent organizational and time management skills. Project Manager, Seniors must have a working knowledge of office tools, databases, project management software, and project management methodologies, and a developed sense of attention to detail.
Essential Functions:
Assisting with compiling and analyzing project/financial reports
Tracking project/program progress and results and time reporting
Coordinating schedules and activities
Review and consolidation of project and resource plans
Placing procurement orders for hardware/software supplies and services and coordinating and scheduling activities in support of the program or project.
The Project Manager, Senior is also responsible for developing project documents, including scope change, SLA, SOWs, and recharge agreements.
The Project Manager, Senior assists the Program or Project Manager in providing oversight and documenting issues, actions, and outcomes, and in monitoring and reporting on project expenditures and budgets.
The Project Manager, Senior participates and documents project meetings, requirements, schedules, and actions, including follow-up and resolution of assigned issues.
The Project Manager, Senior is a critical project support function and as such, must adhere to strict confidentiality and information privacy requirements

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum4 years project management experience including the following: project tracking and control, budget management, resource hours reporting, procurement management
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical, summarization, conceptualization, and prioritization of skills.
- Strong negotiating, influencing, and teaming skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage rapidly and frequently changing priorities.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management and technical teams.
- Advanced, high level proficiency of Microsoft Office products, including Visio, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project .
- Demonstrated understanding of the IT projects and IT project delivery lifecycle and structured methodologies
- Background in financial processes including general ledgers, invoice management, capital/operating expense management and budget forecasting
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple independent workstreams simultaneously
- Proficiency in customer & client relations including team focus, influence, partnership and collaboration
- Knowledge and ability to manage issue analysis and problem resolution
- Ability to work with and establish relationships with virtual national and regional team members
- Self-starter with the ability to work throughambiguity
- Willing to travel 10% of time

Preferred Qualifications:
- Health Care and Information Technology experience and knowledge.
- Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute.
- PMP preferred
- Should have managed project budget of up to $5 million.
