This position is accountable for development, oversight, implementation and maintenance of marketing programs and promoting the Technology Risk Office (TRO).

Essential Functions:
- Design, implement, and facilitate marketing plans, materials, and promotional collateral to fulfill the strategic and operational goals and objectives of the TRO (IT Compliance, Information Security, and Risk Management).
- Provide project management, leadership and expert consultation on the design, development, and implementation of internal Technology Risk Office marketing programs related to Compliance, Security and Risk initiatives.
- Strategize with TRO leadership, write creative briefs, research and analyze information, prepare presentation, speeches, and talking points, plan logistics, and manage overall coordination related to the marketing initiative.
- Partner with leadership to set strategic direction of TRO marketing projects.
- Partner with the TRO awareness group to ensure alignment and maximization of resources for TRO events.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to successfully define, package, and deliver Compliance, Security and Risk messages and marketing programs.
- Develop and deliver insightful presentations and strategies to the business units and leadership team where appropriate.
- Responsible for translating business unit objectives and strategies to develop portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate business unit growth and visibility.
- Ensures content is consistent with the Kaiser Permanente brand in terms of tone, manner, and messaging.
- Ensure project/program alignment with Technology Risk Office business strategies.
- Manages and completes multiple assignments in short time frames and coordinates diverse projects and activities into a cohesive and strategic program for TRO.
- Implement measures to determine effectiveness of marketing programs and create plans to improve results.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 4 years of equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in documenting functional requirements, analyzes business process, and develops business cases to support IT solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
-M.S. or M.B.A. preferred; B.A. in Journalism or Marketing with an emphasis in technical writing will be considered
-5+ years marketing experience in an IT, Financial Services, or other professional services firm
-Strong project management skills. Detail oriented with ability to manage projects from inception through execution.
-Recent experience in planning and implementing marketing/awareness campaigns, complex internal marketing plans and projects for a large complex organization.
-Demonstrated excellence working collaboratively in a team setting; ability to lead as well as collaborate and function well in a team environment.
-Ability to work effectively with Executive and Senior Management.
-Ability to work effectively with and influence across functional units and at all levels in the organization as well with external parties.
-Proven ability to make sound judgments and decisions. Possess the ability to quickly assess problems/situations and provide effective resolution/solutions.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive work relationships and effectively interface at all levels across the organization.
-Excellent communicator with business acumen and the ability to consistently meet or exceed project deadlines.
-Flexible, high level of integrity, action and goal-oriented.
-Demonstrated leadership competency.
-Able to respond to emerging issues.
-Strong strategic-thinking, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
-Marketing and advertising experience preferred.
-Demonstrated experience on cross-functional, integrated (internal/external) efforts.
