Job description
This position is a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as our client's Virtualization Lead. Under general direction, performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex applications that require a thorough knowledge of administrative, and technical skills. Directs and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E). Applies higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solution. Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation, creates charts and graphs to record results. Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings as required by the Task Order. Responsible for ensuring the quality and services delivered.
The actual work location for this position is Huntsville, AL.

Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 5 years experience in administering servers and Operating systems such as Windows or Linux.
- At least 3 years experience in engineering and supporting virtual environments including supporting hardware, software, network, backup; standardization and automation activities; and centralizing and optimizing virtual resources.
- U.S. citizenship required
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in virtualization of servers, networks, storage and desktops; chargeback; and capacity management.
- At least 3 years experience in EMC Symmetrix disk systems.
- At least 3 years experience in designing or operating backup systems in a virtual environment.
- At least 3 years experience in implementing systems in adherence with DIACAP standards.
- Security clearance of Secret - Active
- English : Intermediate
