Work of the MD&D SC supports a multitude of product platforms, new products and delivery systems that are used in a wide range of procedures throughout the healthcare industry, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, minimally invasive surgery, hospital sterilization, clinical laboratory testing, diabetes management, joint replacement surgery and vision care.

The objective of the Business System Support Group is to provide end-to-end process, data, & system support for the Plan, Source, and Make functions of the Global Supply Chain organization within Johnson & Johnson MD&D Sector that is on the Crossroads SAP platform. Reporting into the Business Systems Support Manager, this role will provide that capability in the SAP Quality Management business process area. The objective of this role is to provide day-to-day business process support across multiple sites as well as to ensure cross-platform stability and to effectively manage system and process issues & enhancements through identification, prioritization and appropriate resolution.

This role establishes and manages the Power User Network - identifies and obtains appropriate Power User participation for various support deliverables. The candidate partners with IT, Site Leads, and Power Users to prioritize and schedule production fixes\changes, and partners with upstream/downstream system owners in order to ensure an integrated support model. This position works closely with the technical team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of system changes. This role is responsible for key functional activities from requirements definition through testing. This position works closely with subject matter experts and site leads to improve business processes, and other process leads to ensure tight integration between business functions. This position maintains awareness of SAP capabilities and best practices, and partners with Enterprise SAP team on process governance. This role adheres to Quality & Compliance processes and guidelines, and participates in projects as a process expert where needed.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain or Information Technology. A minimum of 4 years of hands on experience with SAP QM functionality is required, preferably in a support role. Health Sciences experience is highly desirable. Experience working with multiple companies and multiple locations is a plus. Experience working in a GxP environment and process is strongly preferred. Understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies with other functions, including end Customer touchpoints is preferred. Ability to drive issue resolution by bringing teams together - across locations and groups is a must. Root cause problem solving training and experience is required. Experience with Business Process Mapping and Improvement experience is a plus. Ability to develop clear and detailed business requirements and design specifications is required. Ability to translate business requirements into design options that are cost effective, efficient, re-usable, and that comply with defined architectural standards is required. Strong communication and analytical skills is required. This position may require travel up to 25%.
