Description

Johnson & Johnson IT Shared Services, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a IT Manager, Global Applications-Data Management located in Raritan, NJ.

Under the direction of the Configuration Manager, responsible for monitoring Application and Infrastructure relationship CMDB data across the enterprise to ensure data integrity and identify trends that drive and support business decisions. Also, this position will be responsible for performing proactive validations of the data in the CMDB in partnership with the ITS and Business Unit Technical Application Owners and Sector Configuration Managers.

This position will be responsible for the data accuracy and quality of the application CI data and mandatory infrastructure relationships in the CMDB. This includes facilitating communications, requests and issues from ~1200 BU IT Technical application owners and sector Configuration Managers to ensure goals and KPIs are met. Detects, Documents, and Recommends approaches for handling data quality issues. Conducts trend analysis and initiates actions to address data discrepancies and business opportunities. Continuously monitors and tracks CMDB changes and ensures changes are authorized and documented. Liaises with Configuration Administrators on population and maintenance of the CMDB. Tracks and Reports on compliance to the process and data standards. Helps to implement best practices for data sourcing, data integration and data quality. Performs weekly, monthly and quarterly audits of CMDB data and partners with CI owners to correct documented issues and observation. Produces quality and adhoc reports and operational metrics with appropriate KPIs

Qualifications


This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Candidates with a Masters degree are preferred. In addition, candidates with an ITIL v3 Certification are also preferred. This position requires 5 Years experience in data management or analysis which includes extracting, analyzing, and manipulating data to provide consultation, and identify trends and business opportunities. A working knowledge of multiple technical disciplines such as WAN/LAN, Network, Windows or Unix Servers, SAN Storage or Network Gear is required. The ability to perform complex reporting including demonstrated skill in composing logical, detailed and analytical reports that support planning and decision making is required. An understanding of IT Landscape and ability to prioritize criticality operational incidents and business impacts is required. This position required the ability to perform benchmarking analysis and identification of process improvement opportunities. Experience with relational databases as well as other data management systems is required. Candidates that are familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures associated with the ITIL framework are preferred. Proven ability to follow through and deliver results is required. This position requires strong organizational skills including multi-tasking and working in a changing environment. Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration and influencing skills are required. This position requires exemplary customer service skills and rigorous attention to detail. This position requires an understanding of business processes, and the ability to prioritize the criticality of operational incidents and their impact on the business. This position will require minimal travel and will be based in Raritan, NJ.
