Description

Role Overview

The Global Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for preparing the global S&OP process, consolidating the global demand plans, netting for inventory requirements and handover to the production planning group. Additional responsibilities include business planning, coordinating global inventory planning activities and the coordinating the global service management and product allocations, all aiming to deliver on key results measures including customer service, inventory, and cost improvements.

Major Responsibilities

- Responsible for preparing the global EXEC S&OP process and the Management Board review;
- Responsible for correct handover of an unconstraint demand plan to the supply planning organization;
- Responsible for collecting, analyzing, consolidating, and reporting Supply Chain data, aiming to:
- Improve Customer Service
- Optimize Inventory Levels
- Improve Accuracy of netted demand plan handover to plants

- Responsible for analyzing demand and supply patterns and identify exceptions that require further review with the Commercial, Supply and Finance partners to develop a collaborative demand and supply plans for products in all phases of the product life cycle;
- Responsible for integrating demand and supply scenario planning into the planning process;
- Responsible to monitor inventory health and coordinating product allocation process;
- Responsible for identifying and driving improvements of the S&OP, demand, inventory and network planning processes, including planning and parameters, and understand impact of required changes. Continuous exploitation of existing systems and data to improve business processes;
- Able to develop and projectmanage local programs to deliver significant improvement in KPI's;
- Responsible for providing data to improve supply chain effectiveness and performance, primarily through focus on analysis and clear metrics reporting;
- Provide coaching for other team members and manage temporary staff.

Critical Success Factors or Scope or Responsibilities

- Deliver on Supply Chain KPI's;
- Accurate handover of demand plans to the supply group;
- Accurate understanding of the supply plan and potential allocations;
- Understand the End to End Planning process;
- Understand data sources and carry out analysis for business requests;
- Develop and produce regular Supply Chain reports, including S&OP and metrics reporting;
- Provide analysis for Business Plan process.

Qualifications


Essential:

- 4+ years of relevant experience in Supply or Demand Planning;
- Strong organization skills and an aptitude for planning;
- Accuracy with attention to detail;
- Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions;
- Proactive approach;
- Persuading, influencing and managing others;
- Can drive continuous process improvements;
- Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint;
- Able to work with limited supervision.

Desirable:

- Green Belt six-sigma certification
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- APICS Certification
- Supply chain experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Working knowledge of financial processes
- Experienced ERP / Planning Systems User
