The Immunology Specialist Dermatology (ISD) is accountable to achieve sales quota by delivering market share and market share growth, as well as other key metrics in the assigned Territory. The individual uses discretion and judgment to execute the franchise and company brand strategy and tactics within the assigned customer segment, which may include physicians within specialty medical practices and their staff, specialists within local hospitals, clinics, and pharmacists within a specific geographic area. The ISD influences decision makers and influencers within assigned customers to support the use of the company's products in the treatment of relevant disease states by developing and applying clinical and business expertise, and effective selling skills. The ISD influences decision makers by developing and delivering a targeted sales message based on accurate clinical information, uses approved medical reprints to support the case, and discusses therapeutic strategies to influence decision makers. The ISD fully executes marketing strategies at the local level, leveraging resources appropriately and working successfully with company team members and counterparts to share ideas and information to enhance business results. Immunology Sales Specialist is accountable to build customer loyalty by identifying and cultivating relationships with key decision makers at the local level who can influence decision making within the healthcare provider systems.

The Immunology Specialist Dermatology will be responsible for attaining Janssen sales objectives for REMICADE™ (infliximab) and STELARA™ (ustekinumab). You will be presenting complex clinical and business information on Janssen's immunology products and services to an audience of office and institutional based Dermatology health care professionals, government agencies, professional and patient groups, health plans and others involved in the decision making process.

Qualifications


To be considered for this position a candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree or higher, and a minimum of 7 years of successful pharma, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience is required. 4 years of specialty sales experience is required. All candidates must have a valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States along with a clean driving record. Candidates must be willing to travel as needed or required, depending on the geography. Prior experience selling injectable/infused products are a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge of immunology and dermatology field, prior experience managing through complex reimbursement issues, candidates with prior Management Development courses, experience in project oriented selling situations in a high incentive and individual performance culture, along with a documented successful sales performance (high growth, results vs. plan).
