The International Marketing Manager supports the commercial Marketing activities in Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Canada and is an integral part of the WW Sales and Marketing Team, based in Diamond Bar, CA, reporting to the Director of Global Strategy and International Marketing. The support provided to the regions will align to the needs of each region, but will primarily include supporting new product launches, supporting major events such as symposiums, trade-meetings and/or conferences, providing all current marketing materials such as collateral and training tools, and coordinating training and professional education events within the regions. The International Marketing Manager also assists in collecting competitive intelligence and interacts closely with US Commercial Marketing and New Product Development Marketing. The International Marketing Manager is integral in driving and executing the marketing strategies in the regions, as well as enabling strategic decision making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans & prepares NPD (New Product Development) launches supporting regional teams. Project management: regional meetings, trade-events. Organizes and manages central repository of all marketing collaterals (intranet web-site). Coordinate international training with regional training managers and Global Education team members. Process management for the regions: e.g. on-time forecasting. Develop project schedules to monitor progress towards launch. Collects and follows-up on key project deliverables and action items. Liaises with cross-functional and outside parties including strategic partners and consultants. Analyze go-to-market strategies. Supports commercial marketing needs for launch and post launch activities. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level. Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications


A Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA is strongly preferred. An emphasis in Marketing or International Business is an asset. A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience with prior experience in medical device marketing and/or field sales or R&D/Clinical preferred. Experience working in a regulated environment preferred. Prior experience in new product marketing preferred. Prior experience in the health care industry preferred. Experience in developing and implementing yearly business plans which include defining of marketing goals, strategies and tactics preferred. Experience with product launch is required. Global experience or experience in the APAC region is an asset. Strong business communication skills including both verbal and written communications are required. Leadership skills in project management are required. Experience working with global team members and with individuals from diverse backgrounds; ability to understand and thrive in diverse cultures is required. Results-oriented and a quick learning individual with strong work ethic and a high level of motivation is necessary. Must be self-confident to interact with customers, internal teams and senior management. Strong analytical skills to measure results required. Must be strategic-minded with superior collaboration skills, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated experience in learning complex technologies/ clinical applications is required. Strong presentation skills and executive presence is required. Must be passionate about a career in Marketing in Life Sciences. Demonstrated leadership is required. Ability to create strong, collaborative working relationships and encourage creative solutions by effectively working through conflicts is required. High level of integrity and ethical standards that align with the Credo Values is required. Strong prioritization and time management skills is required. This position is based in Diamond Bar, CA and will require 50% travel, mostly to the Asia-Pacific Region. Occasional weekend work and travel will be required.
