Position Overview

The HR Operations Associate will be a key member of the Canadian HR Shared Services Centre that will support HR Operational tasks for all Johnson and Johnson Canadian companies. Specifically as a key contributor to the success of the Service Centre strategy, they will perform tasks related to analysis, execution, and support of HR transactions via the SAP and/or Our Source system. The HR Operations Associate will be expected to handle in a confidential professional, helpful and timely all inquiry/issue processing related to service requests. In addition, the HR Operations Associate will communicate cross-functionally with other departments to investigate, research and resolve all issues promptly and accurately including all required customer follow-up. This role will need to work independently and within a team environment and is a one year contract role located out of our Toronto office.

Key responsibilities:

Manage all information and system requirements including data entry to support HR transaction and payroll processes, will be seen as the subject matter expert in SAP/Our Source transactions

Manage all HR transactional projects such as mergers/acquisitions-mass uploads with appropriate internal partners

Full accountability to handle complex and/or confidential inquiries/requests and assume ownership of escalated issues from internal and external business partners by following established processes Intensive follow-up with clients to manage HR transactional processes

Support all HR transactional processes for employees across multiple Canadian affiliate companies

Provide single point of contact for employee service representative

Ensure data accuracy and validity with respect to HR/Payroll system

Develop and create reports to support HR services

Qualifications


Post Secondary Education

8-10+ years experience in a strong customer service capacity, preferably within HR or Payroll

Project Management ability

Excellent technical skills, including software packages such as MS Office

Proven experience with an integrated business system (HRIS preferred) (SAP experience an asset)

Previous experience in HR processing (employee data management preferred; recruiting, compensation, or benefits administration also considered). Experience in a shared service center environment preferred

Requires excellent people skills, above average ability to communicate clearly and ability to prioritize

Good organization skills with solid follow through tasks

Strong attention to details, to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines

Ability to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously is essential

Possess a strong work ethic with the ability to handle confidential material

A sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution and an ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

Able to process complex information and identify solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements.

Bilingualism is an asset (French/English)

Some travel required within the Greater Toronto Area
