Position Overview

The Analyst, Enterprise HR Operations performs tasks related to the execution and support of Enterprise Operations within an SAP environment for activities within Canada. They will coordinate with the global shared services center located in the US for specialized guidance and/or support as necessary. As a local representative of HR shared services, the Analyst has a wide breadth of responsibility and they will maintain the utmost confidentiality in dealing with employee records and business information. In addition, the Analyst, Enterprise HR Operations Associate will communicate cross-functionally with other departments to investigate, research and resolve all issues promptly and accurately including all required customer follow-up. This role will need to work independently and within a team environment.

Key responsibilities:

Enterprise Operation & Administration includes performing transactions for Canada, such as: recruiting, on-boarding, employee movement, compensation, or other employee data transactions, manual service bridging, retroactive transactions, transactions for special populations (e.g., union), basic Business Structure Management transactions (position, org unit, reporting line), portal in-box review for Manager Self Service update position, multiple (position) holder audit and mass uploads.

Perform HR transactions as applicable for those formerly assigned to the third party vendor for Canada, including employee data, business structure, recruiting, and total rewards administration from a back end SAP access. Create reports of activities and findings to document results and review with the manager. Assist the manager with day-to-day task planning and special projects.

They will research and correct data issues, handle escalations, and perform other general enterprise duties

Other Responsibilities may include seeking approval outside of workflow and managing changes in the back-end system (SAP) to expedite a flawless transaction process. Additionally, process incoming requests, prioritize cases according to business needs, track progress, and monitor compliance. Work with management to stay aware of issues, changes, and pending business/ HR developments where HR operational support may be required.

Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Enterprise Ops team processing. Assist in the development, reporting, and review of metrics to drive performance, identify trends, and develop/implement process improvements, escalating issues and proposed solutions as appropriate.

Communicate regularly with Canada HR Ops Manager and Enterprise Ops Manager, team members, and appropriate stakeholders regarding task or project status and opportunities to improve service levels or processes. Escalate issues as appropriate to ensure quality service levels. Participate in and support departmental initiatives in Canada and on the Global Enterprise Ops team.

Qualifications


Post Secondary Education

5+ years of Human Resources operations or related field experiences are required

Previous experience in ERP administration/HRIS, HR operations, or related HR service center role required, preferably for a large multi-state company as an analyst or coordinator.

Experience in a shared service center environment preferred.

Excellent technical skills, including software packages such as MS Office

Proven experience with an integrated business system (HRIS preferred) (SAP experience an asset)

Previous experience in HR processing (employee data management preferred; recruiting, compensation, or benefits administration also considered). Experience in a shared service center environment preferred

Requires excellent people skills, above average ability to communicate clearly and ability to prioritize

Good organization skills with solid follow through tasks

Strong attention to details, to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines

Ability to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously is essential

Possess a strong work ethic with the ability to handle confidential material

A sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution and an ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

Able to process complex information and identify solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements.

Bilingualism is an asset (French/English)
