DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction is the Joint Reconstruction business offering orthopaedic devices, solutions and supplies for hip, knee and extremity reconstruction, in addition to cement and operating room products.

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of Codman's administrative functions (Finance, HR, IT and Legal). You will analyze spending and financial information for these functions to provide comparison to current trends and forecasts. Where there are gaps to forecast, you will work directly with the various business partners to understand the gap, calculate an updated forecast and report variances to management. You will also be responsible for all forecasts, budgets, business plan, etc for those functions for multiple forecast cycles throughout the year. You will also be required to perform month end close activities such as financial analysis, preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and headcount reporting. You will also have responsibility for Sarbanes Oxley Compliance (SOX) for the Financial Reporting cycle. This will include updating and maintaining all SOX related documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), internal controls activities, performance of required testing and reporting results to management. This role will also include various ad hoc requests and projects.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required with a major in Finance or Accounting, CPA preferred. Must have a minimum 2-3 years of finance and accounting experience. Public accounting experience is preferred. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to influence business partners. Must be proficient with MS Excel. Access database, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and SAP experience is a plus.
