Description

Medical Devices & Diagnostics Global Services, LLC. Global Supply Chain Organization is recruiting for a Manager Program Controls. This position is located in Bridgewater, NJ.

Medical Devices & Diagnostics Global Services, LLC., represents more than 60 manufacturing sites and 26,000 employees who plan, source, manufacture and deliver high-quality and cost-effective medical products to our customers around the globe each day. Work of the MD&D SC supports a multitude of product platforms, new products and delivery systems that are used in a wide range of procedures throughout the healthcare industry, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, minimally invasive surgery, hospital sterilization, clinical laboratory testing, diabetes management, joint replacement surgery and vision care.

This position reports to the Director MD&D SC Program Management Office. As a part of Office of Strategy Execution and PMO team within MD&D Supply Chain, Manager - Program Management will lead the Core Processes and Capability Development activities across the MD&D Supply Chain.

The Manager will drive portfolio governance including prioritization resource allocation, financial management and other measures to ensure various business commitments are achieved. The Manager will develop and deploy core standard processes, tools, capabilities and best practices for portfolio execution and Supply Chain performance management. He/she will bring to the position knowledge of project and program management processes, with an ability to coach and lead other portfolio leaders as necessary. Communications, negotiation and influencing skills are critical, as is the ability to work in a complex matrix organization.

Major Responsibilities include:

Develop and Deploy Core Standard Processes across MD&D Supply Chain;

Align portfolios to MD&D SC G&Os;

Coordinate monthly reviews and reporting across MD&D SC;

Prioritize project portfolio to ensure benefit realization; including business case, resources, project timelines, deliverables and metrics;

Establish and implement program tracking and reporting tools to ensure that the program portfolio of project and initiative;

Ensure that key benefits are realized and meet the needs of MD&D Senior Leadership;

Drive effective risk management and corrective action processes to minimize overall program risk and enhance benefit realization;

Partner with Finance to insure close alignment on accurate reporting of business metrics, resource forecasting and measurement;

Partner with portfolio leaders to ensure programs are aligned with priorities as defined by the leadership team;

Drive change management to institutionalize effective project and program reporting methodologies, metrics, communications, and change control processes;

Build project portfolio management capabilities and supporting processes needed to ensure continued interaction, collaboration and effective resource management across the organization.

Develop and Deploy training for PMO Processes, Capabilities and Tools across MD&D Supply Chain organization.

Qualifications


BS Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Operations Management or related field required. MBA or Masters preferred. Minimum of 5 years of project/program management or related experience required. Minimum 3 years of Supply Chain functional experience within Make, Source, Plan, and Quality or Engineering organization is strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience in project management and program management processes and tools (FPX, Instantis, Gensight, etc) preferred. He/she must have experience leading multiple cross-functional project teams with the ability to sponsor contractors, vendors and consultants. He/she must be a Strategic Thinking, with Superior analytical, influencing and communication skills. Experience in Facilitation / mentoring, Business Process Development and Training is strongly preferred.. Must have the ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization. Must be self directed with proven ability to rapidly adjust to new environments. Process Excellence Six Sigma, (J&J or equivalent, Green Belt certified, Black Belt and/or Master Black Belt Certification strongly preferred). Expert in PE Six Sigma, DMADV, and/or Lean tools is preferred. This position may require 15% - 20% domestic and international travel.
