Solution Consulting: includes consulting with Business Partners to define requirements and develop solution alternatives and estimates (Business Engagement Consultants) and translating client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture (Solution Consultants) and assuring the integration of corporate business application architectures.
Essential Functions:
- Project $: up to $50M including multiple sites or regions, or up to 20 interdependent work tracks.
- Provides integrated systems planning and recommends alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems that support overall corporate and business goals.
- Reviews input on supply and demand management and feedback as needed.
- Directs the development of comprehensive and strategic business cases with cost/benefit dimensions of proposed projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions.
- Directs/conducts the analysis of current business processes and functional requirements.
- Directs the analysis of enterprise-wide or very complex client needs in project areas such as new business operating models, innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research of emerging or available product functionality and operational readiness assessment.
- Influences cross-functional and/or cross-divisional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and system specifications.
- Selects and customizes the methodology for the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support client business processes and functional requirements and resource costs.
- Assists in the development of Service Level Agreements. Provides on-going assessment of Service Level Agreements.
- Large Complex projects or multiple projects of moderate complexity.
- Works with area and group managers to finalize solutions. Oversees implementation of solution recommendations in business area.
- Leads development of release packaging decisions, evaluating potential negative impacts and recommending alternative solutions for large projects or national initiatives.
- Acts as project lead in the coordination of solution development and the implementation of the final product/service.
- Consults with senior client sponsors and other KP leadership to inform and promote successful project development and implementation within the organization.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in solutions consulting including defining requirements, developing solution alternatives and estimates and translating client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions.
* 5 - 7 years experience working inthe health care field
