The SAP Business Intelligence senior managing consultant is responsible for business development and delivery of business intelligence solutions involving technology, process and organizational change initiatives of IBMâ??s clients. During the sales cycle the consultant will develop business value propositions, solution strategies, roadmaps and ultimately the proposal. As the delivery lead this resource will have accountability for managing scope, issues/risks, timelines, financials and quality deliverables of engagements. This is a hands-on consulting sales & delivery role providing leadership & direction to the team as well as managing client relationships.
Business Intelligence engagements may span data management, datawarehousing and reporting/analytics domains and the consultant is expected to provide solution knowledge across these domains to our clients. The consultant must be able to understand business challenges and translate them into value add business intelligence solutions. The consultant will lead all aspects of the delivery of SAP Business Intelligence solutions including: business requirements, solution design, build, test, and deploy. The consultant may also participate in developing a BI Strategy & Roadmap and supporting business cases. Consultant should be very familiar with SAPâ??s product roadmap for Business Intelligence solutions (including SAP BI/BW, Business Objects, HANA, etc.). Proven thought leadership in BI, demonstrated by whitepapers, presentations at Industry and/or SAP events is preferred.
This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to interact with senior managers and executives of client companies and a proven track record of selling, managing, designing and implementing change in complex businesses. The candidate must be a team player, able to lead or manage a project as well as be able to work independently. 100% travel required.
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 5 years experience in hands on delivery of SAP BI solutions from concept to realization
- At least 3 years experience in leading and managing SAP BI teams and projects
- At least 2 years experience in Business Intelligence business development (presentations, business cases, proposals)
- At least 3 years experience in knowledge of data models and data flow for at least 2 of the following process areas (FI, SD, MM, CO, CRM, SRM, SCM)
- Readiness to travel Up to 3 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 7 years experience in hands on delivery of SAP BI solutions from concept to realization
- At least 5 years experience in leading and managing SAP BI teams and projects
- At least 5 years experience in Business Intelligence business development (presentations, business cases, proposals)
- At least 5 years experience in knowledge of data models and data flow for at least 2 of the following process areas (FI, SD, MM, CO, CRM, SRM, SCM)
- English : Intermediate
