Mentor Worldwide LLC, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a WW Group Product Director, Toxin located in Santa Barbara, CA.

The company has products and services in three areas of aesthetics: breast (augmentation and reconstruction), body and face.

Mentor Worldwide, a leader in the aesthetics market, is planning to expand its presence into the $2+ billion facial aesthetic market. The Group Product Director, WW toxin Marketing is responsible for developing the going-to-market strategy, designing and executing pre-launch activities, and launching toxin (brand name TBD) on a global basis.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute marketing strategic plan to support product launch goals, deliver launch plan according to schedule and maximize revenue and profit for the brand. Develop product launch packages including positioning, pricing, promotional strategy, competitive information, key features/benefits and overall strategy and manage seamless handover to the Regional Marketing teams. Develop global product positioning for toxin in facial aesthetics application. Serve as commercial lead on the CDT (Compound Development Team). Lead the GCT (Global Commercial Team) and directly manage team member(s). Partner with R&D to finalize product characteristics. Partner with R&D, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs departments to develop the clinical strategy for regulatory approval as well as scientific communication. Partner with Operations to insure a cost-efficient, on-time launch. Develop a healthy sequence of post-launch opportunities including new indications. Develop training programs for customers and sales force. Establish Director to Consumer communication program. Contribute to the facial aesthetics' team continuous evaluation of market place and strategic planning. Understand and report on leading techniques, including direct and indirect competing products. Develop relationships with key industry opinion leaders to anticipate and respond to key clinical, technical and market changes. Capture "Voice of the Customer" needs and provides input to key stakeholders (R&D, Business Development and Global Marketing) on products and service needs. Attend key industry meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required. MBA strongly preferred. Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of related work experience in the healthcare arena is required. A minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of a combination of progressive marketing/sales experience is required. Marketing experience is required with a preference for global marketing. Worldwide product launch experience from either marketing programs and/or sales are required. Experience in both medical devices and in pharmaceutical sectors preferred. Demonstrated leadership in marketplace assessment, product positioning and brand management for pipeline products are required. Experience collaborating with R&D and Clinical to identify customer insights, unmet needs and provide inputs to go/no-go product development decisions. People management experience is an asset. Excellent cross functional and management influencing skills with the ability to develop customer relationships while delivering on objectives are required. Experience piloting and expanding marketing programs based on successful results. Ability to use PC and associated software is necessary. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are required. Clinical aptitude is an asset. Ability to work effectively with peers both internally and externally. This position is based in Santa Barbara, CA and may require 30% travel to include weekends to attend conferences and events.
