Description
The Regional Sourcing & SRM Specialist has responsibility for sourcing transportation and driving Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) in EMEA for a specific mode of transportation.
He or she will lead an assigned transportation mode and ensure selection of 'best in class' service providers in terms of cost, service and quality.
Key Accountabilities
• Manage supplier performance and relationship for specific transportation mode(s)
• Drive value across all EMEA transport spend
• Manage and control related part of the transportation budget
• Identify and implement productivity opportunities
• Manage sourcing/quotation process for transportation service providers and lead mode specific Sourcing events across business network of responsibility
• Maintain transportation rate database
• Support implementation of new service providers
• Monitor supplier capability and performance
• Conduct contract and service negotiations
• Maintain knowledge on mode specific industry business intelligence and benchmarking
• Act on service metrics and KPIs relating to capacity provision, on-time-delivery, electronic transmission of data, cost management, and other metrics in alignment with the CLS Transportation EMEA and Operating Company partners business requirements

Qualifications
Experience
• Transportation/logistics experience (5+ years)
• Strategic sourcing and negotiations experience (including contracts)
• Ability to think strategically and participate in implementation of strategies to drive value for J&J EMEA businesses
• Knowledge and experience in transportation related technology, security, compliance, and import/export processes
• Solid problem solving and analytical experience
• Influencing skills
• Project management skills
Education & Related skills
• Bachelor Degree preferred
• Proficient in English (written and oral)
• Supplier innovation capabilities.
