The Business Development Co-op is an integral part of the Consumer Licensing and Acquisition team. Co-ops use a variety of Business Intelligence tools to monitor the competitive landscape, analyze acquisition targets, and benchmark industry players. Co-ops will analyze trends, companies, and news events in order to draw conclusions on future outcomes. Co-ops may be asked to present findings to Business Development leadership.

A successful co-op will possess solid analytical skills and be able to read and interpret financial statements. Co-ops should be entrepreneurial, self-starters that can work independently, as well as within a team. Co-ops must be able to quickly learn to interpret data gathered from a variety of data sources, synthesize the data and draw conclusions. The successful co-op will have strong presentation and communication skills.

Research resources include databases such as: ThomsonReuters, Euromonitor, LexisNexis etc. Training will be provided on these resources.

Qualifications


Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without limitations and require no sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status).

Must be a student enrolled in a full-time degree seeking program majoring in a business analytical related field (examples: Finance, Risk Management, Marketing).

Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA at the time of application.

Must be able to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the 6 month assisgnment.
