Job Purpose:

Provides supervision to the following teams: Customer Service, Customer Relations, Transportation & Distribution. Assist in developing, interpreting and implementing policies and procedures. Supports and provides necessary data to manager to establish departmental policies , cost improvement anaylsis, and budget activities.

Supervising all activities related to customer service and field support. Implements and maintains customer service standards, assuring that customers receive the best service possible. Develops policies and procedures covering order processing, customer inquiries, general correspondence, and resolution of customer complaints. Responsible for customer satisfaction, call center service metrics, and continuous improvement projects.

Supervising the shipping activities for inbound, outbound and inter-plant shipments of medical devicess, commensurate with the goals, guidelines, and objectives of the company. Oversees the activities of staff and supplies required to ship goods. Adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives.

Main responsibilities:

1. Supervises shift activities in the pursuit of organizational OGSMs.

2. Provides leadership and development of subordinates through feedback, counseling, training and workplace opportunities.

3. Reviews operational results in the areas of safety, quality, cost and schedule and initiates changes to address non-conformities.

4. Reviews operational and personnel policies and procedures, recommending changes as appropriate.

5. Provides input into Operations strategic plans and activities.

6. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by Manager, i.e. coordination of Projects, meeting facilitation, kaizen, Wall to Wall, etc

7. Facilitate meetings to ensure communication and understanding of process and policy changes and/or enhancements (example S&OP meeting, weekly project tracker, etc.)

8. Manages the distribution order fulfillment process for customer orders.

Position reports to: Manager, JJVC Cones/CAM CLS

Cualificaciones

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree - Business or Engineering related field or equivalent experience, Industrial Engineering, Process Excellence Green Belt & MBA preferred. Masters Excel and Access.

Language: Fluent in Spanish and English

Required experience: 2 years operations supervising experience, or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
