CONTEXT & BACKGROUND:
The DePuy Ireland Global Supply Chain Organization's Charter is focused on Strategic Supply Chain development for the DePuy Synthes Global Joints reconstruction Business. DePuy Synthes Supply Chain which is a critical element of the broader Johnson & Johnson Medical Device and Enterprise Supply Chains has initiated a very significant transformational program over the last couple of years. This leadership position is at the heart of that transformation effort offering very rewarding experiences, Global influencing and networking opportunities and extensive personal development programs.
JOB PURPOSE:
Develop & maintain a Portfolio of Projects for DePuy aligned with the Global Plan strategy. Liaise with all key stakeholders when formulating and communicating the Project Portfolio and Global Strategy. Ensure that the Portfolio is delivered through consistent program management techniques.
ORGANISATIONAL INTERFACES:
MD & D sector plan team, FODL( Franchise Operations Development leader ), GMB ( Global Management Board ), Global Commercial Boards, Global IT, Corporate Governance Boards , Enterprise Architecture Review Committee (EAC), Global Process Board ( GPB) .
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a Project Portfolio roadmap to support DePuy's Global Plan strategy.
- Lead a team of Project leaders.
- Work with stakeholders to identify the most compliant cost effective method of project implementation to deliver the strategy.
- Ensure a consistent methodology is adopted in delivering the program of projects.
- Identify long- term resource gaps in delivering the program.
- Develop integrated working and review processes with senior IT stakeholders.
- Liaise with Finance on budget reconciliation, CAR preparation and approval process with GPB ( Global Process Board ).
- Consistently support the PMO ( Project Management office) to continuously raise the standard of project leadership and upgrade methodologies.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
Desirable:
- Masters or MBA Qualification
- Green or Black Belt six-sigma certification
- APICS Certification
KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
Desirable:
- Supply chain experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Working knowledge of financial processes
- Experienced ERP / Planning Systems User
