CONTEXT & BACKGROUND:

The DePuy Ireland Global Supply Chain Organization's Charter is focused on Strategic Supply Chain development for the DePuy Synthes Global Joints reconstruction Business. DePuy Synthes Supply Chain which is a critical element of the broader Johnson & Johnson Medical Device and Enterprise Supply Chains has initiated a very significant transformational program over the last couple of years. This leadership position is at the heart of that transformation effort offering very rewarding experiences, Global influencing and networking opportunities and extensive personal development programs.

Regional S&OP integration
- Roll-out standard S&OP processes & templates to ASPAC, US, EMEA, LA, Canada & Japan
- Develop regional S&OP programs to deliver significant long-term improvement in KPI's
- Integrate regional S&OP processes into the Global S&OP process for DePuy Joints.
- Liaise with the MD&D S&OP Council to ensure regional alignment across all MD&D franchises
- Responsible for influencing large-scale regional teams who are responsible for collecting, analyzing, consolidating, and reporting Supply Chain data, aiming to;
- Improve LIFR
- Optimize Inventory Levels
- Deliver Cost Improvements
- Review and develop long term regional strategies to deliver improvements in Performance Metrics, providing appropriate resource prioritization and negotiation of non Planning / Supply Chain resources
- Interface between and escalation point for GMB level commercial, finance and supply chain partners - supporting Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reporting & business analysis
- Responsible for identifying regional leaders and teams to improve supply chain effectiveness and performance, primarily through excellent technical ability, coaching and leadership
- Provide clear leadership for regional S&OP teams
- Managing S&OP Coordinator who is responsible for BO, Supply and Exec review meetings.
- Continuing to develop a forward looking S&OP process by changing the mindset amongst all SC functions to focus on the future state

Specific Job Dimensions
- Lead DePuy Joints Regional S&OP Processes
- Integrate Regional S&OP processes into the Global S&OP process
- Develop an Instrument Joints S&OP process to address the current dysfunctional process and improve the current service levels by increased focus on instruments
- Overall ownership of the Instrument SC from end to end with clear accountability and responsibility for each step in the process
- Developing a forward looking S&OP process for instruments by aligning all functions with the SC
- Working with regional teams to stream line instrument investment depending on the processes within each region
- Acting as a key member of the Instrument Improvement initiative team
- Bringing instruments into the global S&OP process to ensure full alignment and increased focus on improved service

Qualifications


Qualifications

Essential:

· Bachelors degree or equivalent

· Green Belt certification

Desirable:

· Black Belt six-sigma certification

· APICS Certification

KNOWLEDGE

Essential:
- 8+ years of relevant experience.

Desirable:
- Supply chain experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Working knowledge of financial processes
- Experienced ERP / Planning Systems User
