The IT Lead, Operational Compliance is accountable for testing of IT Sarbanes-Oxley controls across the MD&D IT landscape in NA. This includes the development and maintenance of SOX testing plans, the development of test scripts, the execution of SOX test scripts and the documentation and retention of SOX test results. They continuously monitor the control environment to evaluate compliance to SOX and Corporate requirements, provide subject matter expertise and training to IT associates relative to SOX control design, and understand the impact of the compliance requirements on systems and data to determine risk and recommend appropriate mitigation. Counsel and guide project teams on areas of focus.

The incumbent will work with J&J Corporate teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of current policies and procedures and best way to educate the team and make necessary changes to processes. They ensure audit readiness and prepare for internal audits, participate in CIA audits for areas of focus, and provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports and documentation to Business Unit IT and IT Risk Assurance Management and other stakeholders. The must be able to apply the IAPP policies and assist in completion of security documentation and risk acceptance forms.

Qualifications


The minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and at least four years of business experience, or an advanced degree with at least two years of business experience is required . Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, understanding of the other key compliance requirements like SDLC and IAPP, and a strong background in ERP systems, preferably JDE is required. Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be tenacious, assertive with attention to detail, willing to instigate change, and possess the ability to use a risk-based approach to ensure compliance while minimizing impact to the organization. Qualified candidates must have the ability to negotiate; liaise with, advise and influence business partners and colleagues at all levels, be self motivated, and possess willingness to work in a virtual environment.
