Qualifications
- BS degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Ag Systems Management
- Experience and demonstrated skills in operation and maintenance of robotics systems and other highly technical research equipment
- Demonstrated ability and experience in MS Office Suite
- Ability to work extended hours during the peak planting, pollinating and harvest seasons
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize tasks
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with breeding methodologies
- Strong interest and aptitude of IT tools, Excel macros, Databases, statistical analysis
- Basic knowledge of crop production and farming practices, as well as, farm equipment operation and repair
