Responsibilities
Sports Development Associate Manager will provide support and information gathering services to the Sports Development Management team along a diverse spectrum of disciplines designed to research, analyze, develop, and program new business for ESPN Wide World of Sports. Provide and Conduct Industry Research, develop fully integrated travel packages through networking within the WDW lines of business, assist in the development and execution of event management and services work plans. Experienced in dealing with external clients in a sales and marketing environment including creating presentations and giving presentations.
Basic Qualifications
* Client facing experience
* Problem solving ability
* Multi-tasking experience
* Financial acumen to include P&L Development and analysis
* Computer skill sets to include Microsoft Office, DSCS, and Siebel
* Social Media Savvy
* Work comfortably in a multi-departmental environment inclusive of internal and external partners
* Proven experience in the Sports Industry
* Experience working with the travel industry and third party travel providers
Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrated strong networking skills
* Experience with a multitude of men’s and women’s sports and corresponding event development/execution
* Basic knowledge of legal contracts
* Proven written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in the Sports performance and training
Required Education
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
