Responsibilities

Ideal candidate should be a proactive business developer, with significant experience in sports event solicitation, programming and development including business modeling. Ideal candidate would be responsible for interacting with US Olympic national governing bodies, collegiate space, as well us international market business development.

Basic Qualifications

* Keen sales insight in sports tourism market development.
* Insight into all aspects of integrated event development, including sales and services area.
* International sales experience inclusive of direct sales/wholesaler environment.
* Demonstrated strong networking skills
* Demonstrated strong negotiating and influencing abilities
* Sports industry, Olympic sports movement, sanctioning organizations, collegiate market and international sales experience
* Strong internal/external partnering skills leading to new market development.
* Strong understanding of client services from a sports event perspective.
* Minimum of 7-10 years in sports/event industry, including event business term development/contracting, product development, event partnerships, and properties

Preferred Qualifications

* Sports Sales/Business development. International market business development
* Ability to structure positive financial pro forma on created/third party events
* Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
* Sports Industry sales/business development experience. Strong history of client/relationships.
* Strong financial and analytical problem solving

Required Education

* Master's degree or equivalent
