Description:
Coventry Health Care is seeking a Manager of Training, Health Insurance Exchange in our San Antonio, TX or Scottsdale, AZ Service Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for design, development and delivery of training programs that support the goals and strategies of the Health Care Exchange (HIX) line of business. Primary responsibilities of this newly created position include collaboration with key stakeholders to determine developmental needs and skill gaps, design curriculum and determine delivery methods for Health Care Exchange Claims and Customer Service training.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Support department training needs for new hires, and recurrent training.
•Manage the HIX training team including all responsibilities related to individual and team performance.
•Collaborate with departmental SMEs to design and develop training programs and all required training materials.
•Collaborate with appropriate Coventry Health Care (CHC) teams to develop and deliver HIX claims and customer service training.
•Manage the maintenance and versioning control process of all training materials; be the repository for the content, cataloging, organizing, and storing all training and reference materials.
•Identify training opportunities and utilize multiple formats and media to develop and deliver training.
•Provide quality training experience that supports adult learning principles and positions participants for success.
•Support continuous cycle of improvement through testing for learning, participant feedback on training effectiveness, and identifying innovative methods to meet evolving training needs.
•Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
•7 – 10 years experience developing and conducting training programs.
•Previous experience conducting needs assessments.
•Ability to use standard corporate software packages and corporate applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Experienced Instructional Designer with a Training Management background in healthcare and call centers/contact centers.
•Expertise with deploying training in multiple formats and media.
•Experience managing and developing high performance teams.

•Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
•Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
•Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
•Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.

•Some overnight business travel.
