JOM Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., a member of Johnson and Johnson's Family of Companies, is seeking a Distribution Team Leader to work in Shepherdsville, KY.

The Distribution Team Leader will be responsible for managing resources to ensure customer orders are shipped on time and accurately. Responsibilities include establishing priorities, coaching/facilitating individuals and cross-functional business teams, and meeting customer demands and business requirements with a sense of urgency. Other principal responsibilities include establishing/monitoring departmental operating budgets, maintaining site standard operating procedures, performing quality investigations, maintaining facility equipment/appearance, administering the performance development process/disciplinary action, developing/reporting departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and all other duties as assigned. GMP compliance, safety focus, and continuous improvement project initiation/execution are essential components of the job. The Distribution Team Leader regularly communicates with marketing, planning, manufacturing and other internal partners and customers.

Qualifications


The qualified candidate will have a minimum requirement of a Bachelors Degree. At least 1 year of relevant experience in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business, Manufacturing, Distribution, and/or Operations. Prior experience supervising and/ or leading a team of people and prior project management experience are a plus. The candidate must be able to work well with others and be a leader. Prior experience working in a regulated environment (FDA/DEA) is preferred. Experience in MS Office Suite is required. Knowledge in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred. Knowledge of MARC WMS is a plus. Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) or training is an asset. WERC (Warehousing Education and Research Council) membership is a plus. The qualified candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, project management, leadership skills and must have the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization and have the ability to develop teams. The position requires up to 5% domestic travel. Occasional overtime, to support base business and project responsibilities, is required. The candidate must be willing to cover shift work that can begin as early as 6 AM or as late as 10:30 PM. The position will be based in Shepherdsville, KY.
