The Manager of Medical Practice Operations will manage the day-to-day operations of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine at the One Main and Wisconsin Avenue locations. Administratively responsible for the management of clinical and business operations, physician practice management, program marketing and development. Prepares, submits and maintains accountability for operational and capital budgets of assigned practices. Provides leadership, direction and coordination of departments relating to patient care. Works closely with physicians, supervisors and staff to ensure the delivery of quality, cost effective health care to the clinic's patients within WFMG.
*Must have experience with process improvement and creating an improved patient experience.
*Familiarity with acute care cardiology operations preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Either Nursing Degree or Bachelors Degree: Business, Management, Healthcare Administration or Related Field. 5 to 7 years experience.
Physician Practice Operations Management Experience Preferred.
•Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of management, physicians, clinicians, related subsidiary staff and WFH customers.
•Overall knowledge of clinical services.
•Ability to evaluate overall clinical services as it relates to operations, revenue and compliance.
•Ability to direct, manage and coordinate all areas of clinical services and integrate consistent core competencies with WFMG.
•Possess excellent oral and written communication skills along with the ability to listen, understand and influence.
•Ability to respond effectively and meet time deadlines.
•Effective and decisive under pressure caused by emergency situations.
•Independent/flexible problem solver with ability to cope positively with changes in the work environment.
•Ability to manage up to 15 providers and over 30 staff members.
