The Business Transformation team manages how MillerCoors captures and maintains our critical business information, creating a single business language for that makes it easier to share information across the company, and making data a strategic asset for MillerCoors.
Data Governance is a key component of the Business Transformation team. Governance is how an enterprise manages its data assets. It includes the rules, roles and responsibilities to ensure that data is accurate, consistent, complete, available and secure. MillerCoors views data as global and shared. For that reason it must be governed at both an enterprise level as well as at a local business level. For the purpose of governing and managing MillerCoors’ data, there are XX process domains defined today.
The Data Governance Lead will serve on the Business Transformation team and will lead MillerCoors’ data governance efforts, within the strategic vision set forth by the Chief Business Transformation Officer. The Data Governance Lead will have a working knowledge of each of the process domains and will identify and manage critical data governance issues and risks. He or she will chair the Executive Governance Council, an enterprise-wide governing body that makes cross process data decisions, sets Data Governance strategy and policies and monitors data metrics. The Executive Governance Council consists of Executive Process Owners, Data Sponsors, IT Executives and the MDM Organization Lead.
The Governance Lead will work to ensure that MillerCoors’ data governance is effective by building a tight alignment between the enterprise part of governance and the geographies, business units and functions. The Governance Lead will work with the Executive Governance Council to execute the governance strategy, monitor data metric results and implement improvement efforts.
The Data Governance Lead operates in the intersection between business and data management. The job offers an individual the opportunity to apply his or her deep business experience and technical aspects of data management and information needs.

Education and Experience:
·10+ years of MillerCoors or related CPG business experience spanning multiple business units or functions
·Bachelors Degree
·Masters Degree a plus
