Job Text

Champions the MillerCoors Manufacturing Way (MCMW) and continuously strives to eliminate all forms of waste throughout the brewery. Assists with the development of focused improvement plans with the aim of driving both best practice maturity as well as brewery performance.

Leads change efforts in the brewery relative to the manner in which production processes are carried out. Champions new methodologies which reflect best practices relative to lean manufacturing principles. Teaches and coaches employees in MillerCoors Manufacturing Way (MCMW) principles and practices relative to the corporate guidelines and standards. Actively manages projects that directly or indirectly contribute to the manner in which production processes are carried out.

Is responsible for adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related MillerCoors Quality Management System including SQF, HACCP and GMP to ensure safety and quality of MillerCoors products.

Education level and/or experience 



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology or Industrial Management or equivalent experience; advance degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in developing and implementing supply chain, production or process improvement related initiatives.

Skills and/or knowledge 

Sound knowledge of Lean / MCMW principles and practices. 

Advanced interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and maintain credibility across all levels of the organization. 

Demonstrated project management capabilities, including use of appropriate planning tools, value stream mapping and processes. 

Proven ability to utilize root cause, formal failure analysis and/or other problem solving processes. 

Thorough understanding and demonstrated success of Change Leadership and Management Processes. 

Ability to coach others and to transfer knowledge, tools and capabilities. 

Ability to mobilize teams and direct focused efforts during periods of uncertainty and changing operational stability. 

Proven ability to teach others and lead workshops that effectively transfer knowledge pertaining to MCMW concepts, practices and principles. 

Proven ability to lead and manage change. 

Excellent facilitation skills. 

Basic understanding of financial management tools, including Net Present Value, Return on Investment, etc. 

Computer skills including OUTLOOK, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, WORD, PROJECT and ACCESS.
