Business Consulting: Includes analysis/evaluation of business and/or system process and functional requirements, development of business cases, client support during system development and implementation, development and maintenance of service level agreements. Develops relationships with upstream and downstream business partners. Develops/maintains and changes business processes, and understands the business processes of assigned partners and how they relate to our functional areas. Develops and recommends changes to business processes.

Essential Functions:
Advises and recommends areas of program planning, business requirements management, budget execution and program coordination.
Prepares needs assessment.
Validates resource requirements and develops cost estimate models.
Conducts and coordinates financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group.
Interprets, evaluates, and interrelates research data, and develops integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.
Plans and coordinates the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required, and presents findings of studies to client committees.
Provides consultative, advisory, technical, and staff support, as appropriate.
Ability to use survey and market research methodologies, systems, and techniques.
Must have business intelligence software experience.
Gathers and interprets relevant data including data mining (costs, productivity, demand patterns, etc.).
Investigates problems, finds root causes, and develops solutions.
Develops periodic performance reports and distributes them to stakeholders.
Monitors contract compliance of carriers and other logistics service providers.
Provides analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals.
Coordinates delivery schedules and other supply chain activities.
Assists in implmenetaiton and maintains systems used to query and analyze supply chain data includingcontract management.
Responsible for providing data that could assist negotiations including price changes, off contract spent, etc.
Responsible for spend management functions to include vendorrebate tracking, price benchmarking and market share analysis.
Supports facility based Supply Chain personnel by providing operational performance, spend performance, and ad-hoc reporting as requested.
Assists in the development of standardized data analysis procedures in support of Supply Chain Operations.Ensure that the recommended solution is commercial yet competitive.
Document and analyze the required information and data.
Understand the technical designs as well as the specifications.
Evaluate the information gathered through workshops and surveys, business process description and task analysis.
Effective communication with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements.
Acting as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams.
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
Qualifications:

Technical Requirements:
Experience with PeopleSoft, Cognos, Oracle platforms, Business Objects, databases required.
Develop Spreadsheet and database analysis for presentation

Qualifications:
Minimum BS/BA degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or relevant experience
Minimum 3+ years of direct relevant experience.
Must understand business process management and business requirements of the customer and translatingthem to specific requirements.
Very strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of customer's needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.Ability to think in complex situations
Ability to solve problems and transfer knowledge
Ability to work in a team environment and interface well with associates at all organizational levels
Ability to build exception management reports and executive summaries.
Ideally, candidate will have combined systems knowledge and project management capabilities.
May perform special projects or studies of moderate to complex scope.
Must be a power user of Excel and Access. Visio and MS Project desired.
