Qualifications
- M.S. or PhD in a plant pathology or breeding-related program, and at least 5 years experience in that field.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and perform as a team player is required
- Familiarity with plant breeding processes, and understand the workings of a plant breeding program
- Past successes with creating a strategy and working and influencing others towards achieving the end goals.
- Experience in industry is desirable
- Past experience with molecular techniques and approaches such as PCR, marker design, QTL and association mapping preferred.
