Creates and updates clinical practice standards. Collaborates with key stakeholders to monitor and improve the quality of care delivery, data capture and reporting, and performance improvement. Liaisons between operational leaders and the Health Connect team related to clinical informatics. Scope of practice, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards consultation. Identifies strategies to leverage technology to support the strategic drivers of the organization.

Essential Functions:
- Creates and implements clinical practice standards for all service lines, excluding rehabilitative services.
- Identifies opportunities for improved data capture.
- Disseminates quality and improvement findings to the relevant leaders.
- Collaborates with regional Quality leaders to monitor and improve care delivery quality.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to leverage clinical informatics for the benefit of care delivery and access to care.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement, focusing on regional processes related to Patient Care Services.
- Identifies opportunities to leverage technology to improve patient care and quality.
- Works with other technology leaders to implement highly-effective processes and equipment.
- Serves as the primary consultant for clinical scope of practice, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of nursing experience.
- Three (3) years of informatics, quality, or process improvement experience.
- Experience in and understanding of health care delivery in an ambulatory setting required.
- Experience in policy creation.
- Master's degree in nursing informatics, nursing quality or related field required.
- RN License for DC and a compact state (ex. Maryland, Virginia) required.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office products.
- Excellent writing skills required.
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of departments and leadership levels.
- Must demonstrate exceptional customer service attitudes, including a 'can do' approach.
- Must be able to independently problem-solve and develop creative solutions.
- Must be a champion for innovation and change.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managed care setting preferred.
- Health care consulting experience preferred.
- Doctoral degree in nursing or related field preferred.
- Six sigma certification green belt or higher preferred.
- Understanding of nursing regulatory and scope of practice requirements strongly preferred.
