The individual in this position will provide the leadership for the Program Management functions for Infrastructure Management Group's (IMG's) Network Services organization. His/Her primary responsibility is to ensure that Network Services programs and projects successfully meet their time, cost and business objectives. This will be accomplished through a process-driven approach, which will result in well forecasted, well planned and well executed initiatives. In addition, the Director NS PMO will have responsibility for metrics, reporting and trend analysis for NS service delivery Key Performance Indicators.
The IMG's Network Services organization is establishing a service-oriented operating model, using ITIL processes as a foundation to deliver consistent, highly reliable and available capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the talent, processes and programs to consistently deliver on this goal, working closely with other NS Leaders, and Leaders from across KPIT to establish a culture and track record of project success for both Business and KPIT projects which include Network investments., The successful candidate must have proven experience in establishing a Program Management Office, time-phased forecasts and budgets, implementing project planning and control, variance analysis, financial planning and analysis, talent management experience and a strong background in managing complex network projects and programs
Essential Functions:
- Deliver on NS project commitments Participate in annual KPIT planning initiatives
- Maintain a Project Portfolio showing accurate status of planned and proposed projects, with relative priority
- Facilitate project front door process with the assigned project managers to assess project requests, to confirm scope, risk, activities, schedule and assignment of NS resource
- Ensure proper documentation and smooth handoffs occur between Phases
- Establish training and certification requirements
- Establish a project management process, consistent with IMG and KPIT
- Ensure PM and other resources are forecasted, planned for and available to ensure project success
- Establish required linkages into the KPIT SDLC and PMP
- Collaborate and interface to other PMOs and Senior Leadership for Program alignment, Project Reporting, process and continuous improvement programs
- Minimize variance in budgets from Plan to Actuals and provide accurate accounting and forecasts on an on-going basis
- Prepare and present associated metrics and Reporting for Project and Service metrics and KPIs on a monthly basis
- Develop Business Cases and conduct ROI analysis for proposed projects and investments
- Present to Senior Executives on matters concerning Projects, Resource Planning and Process Improvements
- Lead Process and Quality Improvement efforts for these Functions.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree in related field and/or 6 years of equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible management experience in planning, budget/financial management, and staffing.
- A minimum of 8 years of related IT experience managing complex, projects and programs
- Strong track record of developing and leading, large multi-function teams of KPIT professional
- A track record of project and professional success
- Excellent communications skills, verbal and written. Must be effective with Business Leaders as well as IT professionals.
- Strong Negotiations and Influence Skills
- Ability to manage through uncertainty and complexity to deliver on commitments.
- Ability to lead, develop and coach personnel to meet aggressive goals and improve engagement

PreferredQualifications:
- PMI certification
- ITIL and formal IT service management experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in global network projects
- Demonstrated leadership in design and formation of a PMO for a large, complex Enterprise
- Experienced in Transformational Leadership developing talent, training programs and a process-oriented culture
