Job description

The BAO Development Manager will be responsible for providing leadership on design and development activities related to an integrated data warehouse, report and ad hoc query capabilities, an environment to implement business rules, develop predictive models, and simulate scoring and an environment that supports scoring.

The BAO Development Manager will lead development team members, provide guidance, and collaborate with the client and project teams to define and implement project plans for the solution as well as support additional client test phases.

In addition, the BAO Development Manager will provide direction & guidance to the development team to ensure on-time deliverables; manage development risks & dependencies; lead design and implementation discussions as it relates to the solution; provide verbal and written development status reports and development team status as well as written test documentation; collaborate with Client SMEs, Project teams and other vendor teams to develop and implement the solution; and ensure team understands and complies with development standards and SDLC to ensure consistency across the business.

Consultants will be located in an IBM office in the metropolitan area or at an IBM client site.

Generally projects and clients are within the Metro area and require very limited travel outside of the local area. However, some projects do require up to 100% travel for an extended period of time that is generally less than 1 year. Consultants are required to be flexible with their ability to travel and cannot refuse projects due to travel.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years experience in system and software best practices and methodologies
  • At least 2 years experience in Leadershp
  • At least 2 years experience in Rational Tool Suite including ReqPro, ClearCase and ClearQuest
  • Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • English: Basic knowledge


Preferred
  • At least 2 years experience in application and system testing
  • At least 2 years experience in anomaly and fraud detection
  • At least 2 years experience in Data Management projects
  • Security clearance of MBI
  • English : Intermediate
