Director of Medicare Stars within the Quality Improvement Coventry Health Care of Florida is currently seeking a Director; Quality Improvement to work with our Quality Improvement team located in Sunrise, FL.

The ideal Candidate will act as leader and champion of Medicare Stars Program to ensure HEDIS and Stars objectives are met to support the overall goals. Manage Production of Performance dashboard. Develop, manage and coordinate clinical and non-clinical HEDIS and Stars-related activities. Integrate Stars activities with HCC risk adjustment initiatives. Work closely with regional and corporate HEDIS and Stars improvement teams to optimize outcomes. Manage Stars Program office staff, responsible for developing and supporting the implementation of enterprise-wide accreditation efforts and process improvement activities while working in collaboration with local health plans; corporate IT; and all other departments. The Director; Quality Improvement will perform analysis of enterprise-wide data and practices to identify opportunities for improvement at the local and national level. You will serve as a business resource and accreditation expert for health plan quality teams and all internal and external business partners; supporting national projects to provide expertise and guidance; preparing presentations to communicate Accreditation status and activities to Coventry Senior Leadership; recruiting; developing; and motivating staff. The ideal Director of Quality Improvement candidate will possess a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; Masters degree preferred; previous (5-7 years) clinical or health education experience; (3-5 years) quality improvement experience and (3 years) management experience required with CPHQ - Certification Professional in Health Quality preferred.?At least 2 years supervisory or management experience. Experience in leading diverse teams. Proficiency in Microsoft office, Outlook; Word; Access; Visio and Project Management. This position requires excellent organizational; managerial; communication (written and oral) and analytical skills along with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
