GENERAL SUMMARY
Assesses and identifies skill development training needs. Designs and delivers training to enhance individual and team effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, designs, and implements training programs for new health care services employees including orientation, job content, technology, and customer service.
- Conducts needs assessment and produces periodic reports outlining learning needs accompanied with recommendations and implications such as changes in operations, budget, or quality. Assesses the effectiveness of training programs. Makes recommendations and improvements.
- Provides general orientation training for new employees.
- Facilitates effective implementation of new products, services, business practices, and/or technologies through training.
- Promotes continuing compliance with accreditation and/or applicable regulatory body requirements, which includes collaboration with quality assessment to identify specific focused quality assessment data required for training effectiveness and feedback.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Registered nurse with current license in good standing required.
- Previous (1–3 years) experience in clinical nursing.
- Must meet eligibility requirements to become a certified case manager based on clinical sector supported.
- Previous training experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage conflict.
- Ability to use standard corporate software packages and corporate applications.
- Travel will be required.
