Description
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Director, Biosurgery Business, to be based in Somerville, NJ.
The Marketing Director, Worldwide identifies growth opportunities for maximum revenue and opportunity generation for the Biosurgery business platform. The Marketing Director Worldwide will assess and quantify opportunities to enhance market share and profitability in existing markets as well as create new markets. He/she will partner with R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, Regional Marketing, Finance and key customers in identifying emerging, unmet surgical needs; evaluating options; creating financial models; and providing direction for global growth opportunities. The Marketing Director Worldwide will continually assess the market to identify opportunities by establishing and nurturing key surgeon contacts, analyzing competitive actions, new technologies and market trends. This person will also collaborate with Global Market Research to assess insights, product concepts, marketplace dynamics, etc., to ensure that the stakeholders' voices are brought to the broader team. The Marketing Director will develop, recommend, and implement target product profiles (clinical requirements) and marketing strategies for Global brand development to maximize platform profitability globally. This person has the responsibility to reach financial targets within specified budgets and timeframes. This person is also responsible to globalize the business by ensuring that the regions are informed and aligned with Worldwide initiatives, executing against new product launch plans and meeting growth objectives. This person will ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
BS Degree required, Master's degree preferred. 8+ years progressive business experience required. 3+ years health care marketing experience is required; Medical Device experience, previous regional in line marketing experience, and Global strategic marketing experience preferred. Experience with Marketing Excellence/Mastery, including Launch Excellence principles required. Experience in product development including needs assessment, portfolio management and product lifecycle management preferred. Proven ability to work in a Global matrix organization required. Excellent cross functional and management influencing skills and ability to develop customer relationships required. Experience with supply chain, global brand management, influencing a Medical Device sales force and new product launch preferred. This position is based in Somerville, NJ and may require 30% travel.
