Business Development Manager (BD Manager L&A)(Job Number: 000009XN)

Description

Understand the strategic direction of the company, identify and capture new business opportunities for the targeted therapeutic areas and make assessment on business potential;

Drive and lead cross functional effort to complete due diligent process, complete commercial, financial, medical, regulatory and legal evaluation of opportunities. Lead through business case escalation for approvals;

Drive and lead negotiation with external licensor in alliance with APNBD / PGBD and responsible for in-placement of necessary legal documents / Term-sheet / Business Contract;

Identify, drive and lead out-licensing associated activities as well as owner of partnership alliance;

Deep understanding of market environment, challenges and evolving trends, identify / develop new business initiative as well as relevant business model in aligning with Xi'an Janssen / JnJ Pharm China portfolio strategy;

Build internal and external (include but not limited to consultants / industry / KOLs / governmental authorities)network to ensure new business development process be efficiently implemented by leveraging resources from regional and global level

Qualifications


Bachelor degree and / or above; a 2nd business degree preferred

Majored in pharmaceutical science / or medicine preferred

At least 5 years of experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company in business development / or strategic marketing (planning) / or marketing function

Chinese (as native language)

Proficiency in written and spoken English

Proficiency in computer skills

Proficiency in presentation skills

Good learning agility and business acumen

Proficiency with pharmaceutical market environment, regulation and policy

Proficiency with diversified business models, Mx principles, product launch readiness

Proficiency with financial analysis and modeling

Strong communication and negotiation skill

Open-minded as self-motivator

Positive attitude, passion, perseverance
