Senior Contractor Special Security Officer

Centreville, VA

Serve as a Senior Contractor Special Security Officer. Manage classified government contract programs and oversee the day to day operations of special program areas, including maintaining the structural integrity of the work area, managing and monitoring all access, and administering security education. Work with the security and program staff as a team to set priorities, and manage customer expectations. Provide support in clearance processing, visit certifications, document control, and physical security, including alarm response for controlled areas, IAW, the NISPOM, DCID's, ICD's, and other applicable government security directives associated with both collateral and Special Access security programs. Make decisions, work independently, analyze problems, and provide focused business solutions with the ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences at all levels. Interact with internal and external customers or government security officials to perform security duties, address routine personnel security matters with employees regarding issues, and report preparation, program security access briefings, and other duties as required. This position is located in Centerville, VA.  
 

Qualifications
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
10 years of experience with NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, and other government security directives
10 years of experience with supporting DoD and Intelligence Community programs
10 years of experience with clearance processing, document control, physical security , education and awareness and special program requirements
5 years of experience in database functions, including JPAS, eQIP, and SIMS
5 years of experience with leadership and management
-TS/SCI clearance
-AA degree or equivalent experience


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience preparing responses to RFP/RFQ's
-Knowledge of government classified contract process
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
