This position reports to the Director of Information Security Compliance (ISC) and is a key member of the ISC Management team. This is an individual contributor role that will provide awareness, analytical, education and research support to the ISC Director and Organization and is responsible for developing the ISC stakeholder engagement strategy, identifying key performance indicators, ensuring the ISC strategy is adopted, and providing regular, standard reporting.

Essential Functions:
- Developing and maintaining key internal/external relationships between ISC, Controls Owner, BIOs and other key compliance & information risk stakeholders.
- Identify, collect and consolidate relevant information to support ISC Organization in describing strategy and implementation to executives and stakeholders.
- Compile and analyze data to enable informed and timely decision making by ISC Leadership.
- Identify gaps in communiqu between ISC and stakeholders and develop strategies to address identified gaps.
- Build risk awareness, relevance, reputation and value among target audiences
- Collate and synthesize ISC performance status, risks and other key measures for review to internal and external stakeholders, working in conjunction with accountable executives.
- Support the internal Strategic Planning Process, including refreshing goals, strategies and roadmaps as well as providing management with visibility on progress made on strategic imperatives and programs.
- Work closely with leadership to describe and frame internal capabilities and implementation of ISC Strategy.
- Present alternatives to leadership through multiple, concrete situations and scenarios based on data and facts.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 12 years of work experience, to include minimum of 8 years Business Consulting experience with significant strategic planning and relationship development responsibility.
- Excellent strategic planning, verbal communication, writing and editing skills are required.
- Must have the ability to work well with multiple clients, manage multiple projects and handle sensitive information with the strictest confidence.
- Experience in compiling and analyzing data:collate and synthesize for use by Executive Leadership.
- Experience in creating presentations for use by Senior Management and Leadership.
- Strong client relationship focus with Executive Level personnel.
- Excellent MS Office skills especially in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Ability to understand and assess complex security, compliance and risk conditions, concepts, and development opportunities.
- Experience as a strategic and analytical member of a senior team.
- Demonstrated track record providing leadership in a complex, large sized business.
- Experience with planning, performance management and project management in a large organization.
- Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships in large, complex organizations, with national corporate offices and regional leadership.
- Must share the values of Kaiser Permanente and IT Leadership.
- Ability to consistently demonstrate integrity, initiative, and self-confidence.
- Familiarity with governmental programs and regulations in the health care field, which will affect the operations of the business.
- Previous experience in technology risk, compliance, or information security a plus.
